Gateway Singles - Service - AustinONE

AustinONE has a mission to bring together singles from across the city to glorify God and unify the body of Christ through prayer and events that aim to establish, deepen, and maintain relationships between individuals, leaders, and churches while ministering to the widows, orphans, and poor. AustinONE has had three big events and several smaller ones, with the next big work day to be determined in 2009. Above are photos from our mini work day on December 1, 2007 - which was a Christmas party for children and residents of the Booker T. Washington housing project. We had a blast doing crafts, singing, decorating cookies, serving lunch and taking time to interact with and minister to those in need in our community. We are just beginning planning for our upcoming December, 2008 event. If you would like to be a project leader or help out with other needs, please contact us! We have openings on the leadership team for two people to work under the current leads for the technical and service projects and can give you more info on that if you are interested.
